The Heart of MENA
We believe healthier communities begin with informed families, trusted education, cultural understanding, and strong community support systems. By fostering collaboration, learning, and access to meaningful and evidence-based resources, we aim to help communities thrive across generations.
Originating in the Greater Philadelphia Region, we strive to build connections, compile resources to increase accessibility to point-of-care services and health care professionals through our online presence, acting as a directory of information for MENA Families Nationwide.
About Us
MENA Health Foundation is a family-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering healthier families & stronger communities through health education, cultural understanding, and accessible resources. Rooted in cultural awareness and humility, we recognized that many families face challenges navigating health information & community services due to language barriers, cultural gaps, and limited access to trusted, culturally responsive support. The Foundation was created in 2025 to help bridge these gaps & empower families through education, research, & community engagement, so they can make informed decisions & support lifelong well-being.
Heart of MENA
The Heart of MENA lies in the families that we serve. We believe that Health is more than medical care and begins at home – shaped by daily changes, lifestyle, diet, and the traditions that anchor Well-Being. We aspire to center our foundation on the empowerment of families by connecting them with the tools, information, and education to thrive before medical care is even recommended. Our strength comes from honoring cultural identity, recognizing the importance of language-accessible care, and sharing evidence-based health education that empowers families to make informed decisions, embrace healthier lifestyles, and access supportive, culturally familiar care when needed.
Core Values
Our core values shape the foundation of our work and guide how we engage with the communities we serve. Through inclusivity, respect, health equity, and community empowerment, we are committed to creating supportive spaces where families of all languages & backgrounds feel welcomed, informed, and valued. These principles drive our efforts to improve access to trusted information, culturally responsive resources, and meaningful community support that help families build confidence, connection, and an amazing quality of life. Above all, we value empowering families through trusted information, educational resources, & tools that help families build knowledge, confidence, and healthier futures.
